WeHostels at WYSTC!

The WeHostels team just arrived back from sunny Southern California.

Why were we there? Well, we were proud sponsors of the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC), which was being held in San Diego.

WYSTC is a gathering of all the movers and shakers in the student and youth travel world. We had the opportunity to meet face to face with our partners at Hostelworld as well as with many hostels, tour & activity providers, work/study abroad programs & fellow startups from all over the world. Our mission at WYSTC was to get the word out about our kickass app and I am happy to report, mission accomplished. Attendees were treated to an appearance by Vicky, who dropped the knowledge bomb on the unsuspecting masses via video. We also received a ton of positive feedback and there was a lot of excitement about the WeHostels app.

We would like to send a big thanks to WYSTC for putting on a great event and to all the great people we met while we were there.  It was a great time and we are looking forward to next year’s conference in Sydney!
